A video clip from the July 6th Andrea Mitchell show on MSNBC, recently released on YouTube, seemingly shows Russian politicians not shaking Obama's offered hand. But it's unclear if Obama is just introducing the individuals to President Medvedev.
A video from President Obama's recent trip to Moscow, just released on YouTube, shows that a number of Russians who were offered President Obama's hand refused to shake it. Russian President Medvedev extended his own hand as cover to shake hands with those who didn't shake Obama's; but it's unclear why Obama didn't shake hands with the Russians.
This video appeared on YouTube on Saturday, originating from a broadcast of the Andrea Mitchell show on MSNBC on July 6. There is no sound in the video so it can't be verified why Obama's outstretched hand wasn't shook. Because the clip's volume is overlaid with commentary, the viewer is uncertain why Obama is apparently being ignored. It looks like he may be introducing the President to his fellow politicians, which doesn't seem logical. Obama's lips are moving so he's saying something.
