A unnamed person close of Sarah Palin has stated that her choice to step down as Governor of Alaska is not part of some larger plan for a 2012 White-house run.
The person said that it was made solely out of personal responsibilities that the Governor holds.
The source said that Sarah’s life is very difficult at this time, and she cannot spend as much time with her family as she would like.
The move to step down frees up Palin to raise money and to travel the country, doing whatever she pleases.
The source said that there was no one thing that prompted her resignation, but rather it was a long time choice made over months.
