MOSCOW, Russia – A glimmer of hope with regards in strengthening US-Russia relations provided an encore in what was a glamorous celebration of US Independence day.
Presidents Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev both declared their pursuit in further cutting their nuclear arsenal and rebuilding goodwill among their respective nations.
Both sides appear to be willing to work out their differences including feuds over issues regarding Iran and the country of Georgia.
Medvedev even further stated that they will agree to allow the United States to use their land territory and air space, for them to have a better strategic positions in their quest against the Taliban Islamic extremists in Afghanistan.
Obama who arrives in Russia, Monday afternoon, on the first of a week long trip that includes state visits to Italy and Ghana.
