The London Fire Brigade have said that two children have died and 30 people have been rescued with a further 13 receiving treatment in hospital following a major fire in South London.
It has been confirmed that a 3-week old baby and 7-year-old child have been killed in a fire that swept a tower block in the English capital.
Over 100 firefighters tackled the blaze which started in a 12-storey building in Camberwell, South East London.
Up to 30 people who were feared trapped in the inferno have been rescued whilst 13 have been taken to hospital according to a Sky News
report.

said seven floors of Lakanal House in Havil Street were on fire.
More than half of the 12 storey block was engulfed by flames that raged swiftly, sweeping through the residential block.
"Floors five to 11 are involved in fire and heavy smoke logging," he said.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 4.20pm BST.
Eighteen fire engines, coupled with an aerial ladder platform, ground monitor and breathing apparatus, fought the blaze but it is understood that the fire has now been contained.
An investigation into the incident, which has been described as 'significant' by the London Fire Brigade, is to follow.
