A elevator technician has died in Toronto after falling down an elevator shaft at the TD Tower. At this time there are eight people stuck on an elevator on the 10th floor.
The TD Tower is located in the Financial District in downtown Toronto at Bay and Wellington streets.
Ambulance officials say that the technician may have fallen as many as ten stories down the shaft Wednesday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rescue crews are on the scene.
