Oscar winning song writer and director Joseph Brooks has been indicted on rape and sexual assault charges. Brooks penned the 1970's hit "You Light Up My Life."
Brooks, 70, has been under investigation in New York for five separate sexual assaults. It is alleged that the song writer and director lured women from the West Coast to New York by telling them they were up for movie roles. It is being reported that he used the Internet ad site Craigslist to lure the women.
Two victims allege that once they were in New York Brooks drugged their drinks will knock-out drops.
