Will.I.Am denies claims he assaulted Perez Hilton after MMVAs

Last night at an after-after-party after the Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs), Perez Hilton claimed that Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas assaulted him, and when the Toronto police did not respond to his 911 call, he had to get his Twitterites to save him.

It all started off about 3 am, early Monday morning, when Perez Hilton (aka Mario Lavandeira) tweeted the following: "I'm in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please." That cryptic and desperate tweet was followed up by "I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke." Will.I.Am (aka Will Adams) posted a statement in response to Hilton's tweets, created a Twitter account for himself and tweeted "perez hilton is a liar..." There are reports that Toronto police say they were overwhelmed with calls from Perez's fans, to the point that Hilton finally tweeted his fans saying: "The Toronto police are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them." Allegedly, the whole incident started when Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas approached Hilton and asked him why he didn't like her, disrespected her and was always rude when he talked about her and the Black Eyed Peas. Will says in his video statement that Fergie was in tears after the encounter. At a second after party, Will says he approached Hilton and asked him not to be so disrespectful toward Fergie. Then Hilton allegedly yelled out to Will.I.Am that he is a "faggot" (kind of the pot calling the kettle black) amongst other things. After allegedly being attacked by either a fan or Will.I.Am's manager, Perez Hilton says he went back to his hotel where he called 911 "in fear of my safety". The police explained to him that they were dealing with actual emergencies and would send an officer out when one became available, and that is when Hilton began his Twitter call to arms. Hilton made a video statement as well and says that he said "I don't need to respect you and you're a fag. You're gay and stop being such a faggot." Hilton goes on to say that he knows that he knows that was going to "set him off" but that he "didn't wanna get into a fight with this person." Here is the statement (an excerpt "I. AM. IN. SHOCK. ... I think my eye might be falling out of my head." CAUTION: There is coarse language in this video. Perez ends his statement with the line "... and Fergie, you fuggily bitch." It is now being reported that Ryan Seacrest has inserted himself in the middle of this and is also tweeting: "I am sorting thru this drama wih perez and will.I.am! Have u heard? Perez need u to call radio show to clear this up. Will caall radio show." and followed that up with another tweet "@perezhilton call my radio studio @iamtherealwill call me too. I want to clear this story up". I think Mika the Roofer from Vancouver Island sums it up best for me when he tweeted (@roofer_on_fire): "I pray that nobody died while fans of @PerezHilton were clogging up 911 - It's a city w/4million people , not a fucking hippie commune!"
