L. A. Lakers' basketball superstar Kobe Bryant says he is staying with the Team. The Lakers won this year's NBA Championship against Orlando Magic in their best of seven final series with a final score of 99-86.
Basketball superstar Kobe Bryant says he is staying with his team as he joins the parade and celebrations for winning this year’s NBA Championship in downtown Los Angeles, California.
In a report by Malaya, Bryant added:
"Where would I go?" he said with a broad smile. "This is my home."
"We feel this championship. We feel the energy of the city," All-Star guard Kobe Bryant told the fans.
"We want to do this thing again and again so you know we’ll be back next year ready to go."
The world famous shooting guard can actually opt out of his team and become a free agent but he decided to stay with the Lakers.
About 100 thousand basketball fans joined the parade in downtown Los Angeles in celebration for Lakers winning of the championship game against Orlando Magic in their best of seven series with a final score of 99-86.
Lakers coach Phil Jackson thanked basketball fans for supporting the team and for coming to the parade to join the celebrations.
