Nirav Golden Raisins Recalled Because of Undeclared Sulfites

Indian Groceries & Spices, Inc. of Skokie, Illinois is recalling Nirav Golden Raisins. The product may contain undeclared sulfites.
The product was distributed to stores in Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee between January 6, 2009 and January 31, 2009. All products brought from January 6, 2009 until June 10, 2009 are affected by the recall.
During this time period the company sold less than 6,000 pounds of raisins.
The raisins were sold in 7 oz. and 14 oz. plastic bags under the Nirav brand. There are no lot numbers on the packages. The 14 oz. bags have UPC 0 24433 01025 2 and the 7 oz bags have UPC 0 24433 01027 6.
Consumers are being told to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumer questions can be answered at 1-847-674-2480.
