Thomas and Nancy Beatie welcomed their second child Tuesday morning. Beatie gained notiatiry for being a transgendered man who gave birth to the couple's first child last year.
Beatie, 35, gave birth to a healthy boy Tuesday morning. His wife Susan will nurse the child as she did with their daughter Susan last year.
Beatie announced that he was expecting again during an interview late last year with Barbara Walters.
The baby boy is not yet named. The birth was a natural childbirth.
The couple had decided when wife Nancy couldn't carry a child that Thomas would be the pregnant partner.
Beatie had gone through had sex-reassignment surgery but had kept his female reproductive organs.
