The Internet was swirling with rumors during American Idol this season on the sexuality of Adam Lambert. The singer recently 'came out' in an article in Rolling Stone magazine.
"I don't think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I'm gay," Adam Lambert says.
Lambert is not shy about his sexual preference. He also says that he is not the poster boy of gay rights. He's a singer not a civil rights leader according to an article in

Lambert chose to wait until the show had completed to declare his sexual orientation. He thought that if he did so during the filming that it would put the contestants under a media embargo.
