Malaysian squash player, Nicol Ann David, who is currently ranked world no. 1, has successfully defended her BBQ Women's Seoul Open title yesterday in the WISPA Tour.
25-year-old Nicol David defeated England's Jenny Duncalf, who is just a year older, with a score of 11-6, 3-11, 11-6 and 11-4 in the final. The match between them lasted for 38 minutes.
With the win, David has extended her record against (current) 6th seeded Duncalf to 12-0 in the WISPA or Women's International Squash Players Association Tour. David was also the winner of the Cayman Islands Open and Texas Open titles about a month ago.
David is now celebrating her 37th Tour title, which is also one of her three consecutive wins for this year.
The top five WISPA players for 2009 so far are:
1. Nicol Ann David
2. Natalie Grainger (USA)
3. Natalie Grinham (Australian playing for the Netherlands)
4. Rachael Grinham (Australia)
5. Alison Waters (England)
