UPDATE: I've added in the final touches to the table before the big announcements, and have colour coded the information on the likelihood of the announcement. Also included are some new rumours and updates.

As Monday draws near Apple prepares to make its last minute touches to the annual event, as the rest of the world waits with eagerness to hear what will be announced this year.
Apple always has a high standard to live up to after previous keynote speeches, and you can be pretty sure that they are not going to disappoint. With the absence of Steve Jobs (although as mentioned in the below table he could make an appearance according to the latest bout of rumours) Phil Schiller will be eager to leave a lasting impression on the audience.
The table below shows the rumours (past and present) which seem to be the most likely to occur. After the event on Monday we will update the table again and compare the rumours to the actual announcements, and give you an idea on how the worlds guessing went.
If you can see something that's been missed out, then let me know and I'll add it to the table before the event.

As you can see the expected announcements and hype this year are based on the iPhone and Snow Leopard (which Apple last year said would take a year to complete). Unless Apple have come up with a hit new product and kept it quiet from every one (they have done this before - Apple is renowned at it but its unlikely to occur this year especially without Jobs) then these two products are set to dominate the conference.
Check back at Digital Journal from Monday for full coverage on the event.
