There were several well-documented occasions where Shaquille O'Neal maligned Kobe Bryant in public. But Shaq recently said he wants his former teammate to win the Finals, which starts Thursday.
Reconciliation is always an arms length away. After all, Phoenix isn't that far away off Los Angeles.
Star centre Shaquille O'Neal has set aside his past feuds with Bryant and is now very much hopeful that his former teammate will be able to get his hands on the coveted Larry O'Brien trophy.
ABS-CBN news reports,
"That's right I am saying it today and today only - I want Kobe Bryant to get number four," O'Neal said in an Internet posting on Wednesday to his Twitter account."
The NBA Finals will commence Thursday, June 4 with Bryant hoping to win his first NBA title without O'Neal being at his side.
The Lakers square off against the Orlando Magic, who are bolstered by their own all-star centre Dwight Howard.
