In what could be called a stroke of genius Chilean drug runners tried to smuggle cocaine out of the country by making suitcases out of it.
They used woman as the mule. She tried to board a plane, in Chili, bound for Spain. The woman was stopped, by Chilean police, carrying two suit cases made almost completely out of cocaine.
Creating the cocaine laden suitcases was done by mixing the drug with resin and glass fiber. Upon arrival, in Spain, the drug runners planned to use a process that would separate the drug from the resin.
The woman, now in Chilean police custody, is a 26 year old Argentinean. Her name has not yet been released.
