As he often does, President Obama offered his sports prediction to press recently. He told a reporter he thinks the Los Angeles Lakers will defeat the Orlando Magic in six games. The NBA Finals begin on Thursday.
On his way to the Marine One helicopter on the South Lawn, US president Barack Obama was ambushed by a reporter with a question.
"Who is going to win the NBA championship, the Lakers or the Orlando Magic?"
The president smiled and gave a brief statement saying, "Lakers in six, I think."
According to Associated Press, Obama a huge basketball fan correctly predicted that that the University of North Carolina men's basketball team would win the NCAA college championship.
So far so good, he is on a streak with his basketball predictions this year.
Well, there's only one way to find out whether his record of accurate basketball analysis will remain unblemished.
The NBA finals will commence on Thursday at the famed Staples Center--home of the Los Angeles Lakers.
