Susan Boyle dreamed a dream of winning the Britain’s Got Talent TV show, but instead finished second. A dance troupe won the finals, but judges and the audience gave her a standing ovation.
Susan Boyle may have finished second, but she is a clear winner in the eyes of many around the world. Boyle sang the same song “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables, which made her famous the first time.
But when results were announced, a dance troupe called “Diversity” was pronounced winner.
For her final song, Boyle wore a sparkling gown and after she sang her song, the three judges and the audience gave her a standing ovation.
Simon Cowell praised her for performing well despite having a troubled week and for answering her critics soundly.
Boyle charmed tens of millions of fans around the world. Her rise to Cinderella stardom is stunning; and in the eyes of many television viewers she is a big winner.
