Conservative radio host G. Gordon Liddy attacked President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor, and made an offensive comment against her on the air.
The opposition has already started their battle against the new Supreme Court Judge nominee,
Sonia Sotomayor, 54. But instead of attacking her on her judicial procedures, they are attacking her with personal names and innuendos.
Recently Limbaugh
told his radio audience that he wants Sotomayor to fail even before she is hired.
G. Gordon Liddy, a conservative radio host,
added his views when he told his audience:
"Let’s hope that the key conferences aren’t when she’s menstruating or something, or just before she’s going to menstruate...That would really be bad. Lord knows what we would get then."
Liddy also attacked her for being affiliated with La Raza, a Hispanic civil rights group, which another GOP Rep. Tom Tancredo called it a “Latino KKK”.
Liddy added:
"I understand that they found out today that Miss Sotomayor is a member of La Raza, which means in illegal alien, 'the race,'..."And that should not surprise anyone because she’s already on record with a number of racist comments."
He also said women and Hispanics shouldn’t be given special consideration for the Supreme Court post.
"And everybody is cheering because Hispanics and females have been, quote, underrepresented, unquote...And as you pointed out, which I thought was quite insightful, the Supreme Court is not designed to be and should not be a representative body."
Liddy spent four years in prison after he was involved in the Watergate burglaries.
