Singer Chris Brown spoke to the public for the first time after he was charged for allegedly assaulting his girl friend Rihanna. He told fans that he is not a monster but offered no apologies.

spoke to the public for the first time in a video statement taped after the incident in which he allegedly
assaulted Rihanna in February.
The YouTube video talks about his upcoming new album, on which he is working with fellow singer Bow Wow.
"I just wanna say 'What up?' because I ain't been out there in a minute. New album will be coming soon. We're (with Bow Wow) working on it right now. Called Graffiti. Got everything on it, know what I'm saying? I'll be ready for that. I'm about to drop a single this summer for y'all. So we ain't going nowhere.
"
And in the end he directs his speech about the incident and his arrest in February and focuses on those who criticized him heavily. He said:
"Everybody that's haters, they just been haters. All my real fans, I love you all. I ain't a monster."
He doesn’t offer any apologies to Rihanna or his fans in the video.
