A toddler from New York has a growing reputation as a pool shark. Keith O'Dell Jr. started playing pool on a child-size table, but has since moved up to a regulation table. The tyke has already gained international attention.
A New York toddler is developing a reputation as a pool shark. The tyke has to stand on a chair to reach the regulation-size table but that hasn’t stopped him from learning a mean bank shot.
Two-year-old Keith O’Dell Jr. from upstate New York is the son of pool-playing parents and has his own website (www.poolprodigy.com) He has appeared on talk shows and been on numerous news shows across North America.
The toddler recently traveled to Las Vegas to put on a demonstration for the American Pool Association. He is the youngest member of the APA.
O’Dell's father Keith O'Dell says the tyke started playing pool on a child-size table that he got for Christmas.
He opened it up and just started shooting. Chin on the stick, closed bridge, a nice stroke, it was just unbelievable,"
His parents say pool is also teaching him colors and how to count.
