By Jane Fazackarley     May 16, 2009 in Entertainment
Scrubs, the medical comedy, will return to TV screens for another season. There had been rumours that a next season would not be made.
The comedy finished early this year and its final episode seemed to wrap up a number of the shows ongoing storylines.
The show has not performed so well in the ratings since being moved from NBC to its competitor ABC and one of its biggest stars Zach Braff said he was to leave.
ABC now says the show will go on and Zach Braff is set to come back for six episodes.
After that is is reported that there will be a mainly new cast. Sarah Chalke who plays Doctor Elliot Reid has also been asked to work on some episodes whilst the changes go ahead.
ABC will also be showing three new comedy shows which include a new show for Kelsey Grammar called Hank.
