David Haye advised Ricky Hatton to set sights lower than the likes of Pacquiao, who annihilated the Hitman in two brutal rounds.
British boxing experts like Hart and Warren have been very vocal in urging Hatton to quit the sports for the sake of his health.
The Hayemaker has instead urged Ricky to carry on fighting. Haye mentioned that he should not call it a day after a high profie loss to Manny Pacquiao.
" I hate to tell fighters what to do, but if I was in Ricky's shoes I couldnt leave it there. They say you're as good as your last fight and I think that Ricky knows - like we all do - that he is better than the performance he put againts Pacquiao" said Haye, as quoted by the London paper.
Haye even suggested that an all-British bout against Amir Khan at Manchester would get fans excited. He thinks the match-up would be a sell out in the UK. It would make financial sense for Ricky. Not only that, he owes his fans a good boxing match before he hangs up his gloves.
