Some wish for a vacation in the tropics. But a young girl in Florida asked the Make-A-Wish Foundation for something a little more hard core. To meet the "Motor City Madman" himself, Ted Nugent.
Known for his wildly conservative views and performances where crowds of women were refused a spray of the hose without removing their tops, musician Ted Nugent has more than an older crowd of admirers. A young girl from Florida flew out yesterday to visit her hero at the expense of the Make-A-Wish-Foundation.
In a recent report, the 7-year-old brain tumor patient was explained as getting the royal rockstar treatment as part of her wish.
Brianna and her family will arrive for their flight in a chauffeur-driven limousine and then be escorted by sheriff's patrol cars with lights flashing and sirens blaring.
Scribbles the clown and sheriff's deputies on lighted scooters will take Brianna and her family to their gate to enjoy cake and balloons before the flight. Sheriff's Office Airport Rescue Fire Fighting team will celebrate the flight's departure with a water cannon salute.
The young girl will also spend four days in Texas where she will meet the rocker on the set of his outdoor show, Spirit of the Wild at his Spirit Wild Ranch in China Spring, TX.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation provides children with life-threatening illness with the opportunity to do things they wouldn't normally be able to do. Some want a room makeover, some a trip to the Grand Canyon, but Brianna wanted to meet the man whom she has become a fan of through his outdoor reality show. Her father is reportedly a big fan of The Nuge as well.
Brianna's mother, Dawn Curry, explained how her daughter had been in remission for three and a half years.
A very feminine send off for a hard rock adventure to meet her hero, Ted Nugent.
