Barely a day before the much-awaited Pacquiao-Hatton match at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, many boxing fans believe that Manny Pacquiao will win the fight because of his superior speed and powerful punches.
Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton will climb the ring at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday night, each promising to win in the much awaited boxing fight of the year.
But boxing experts predict that the boxer who is speedier and more powerful will win the fight. In the case of these two popular boxers, Manny Pacquaio may have the edge over Ricky Hatton in terms of power and speed. It is probably true that Hatton is a powerful puncher but so is Pacquaio. And in terms of speed, Pacquiao have a marked advantage.
Inquirer.net reports:
Filipino southpaw Manny Pacquiao matches his speed and deceptive moves against the superior size and power of British star Ricky Hatton on Saturday (Sunday morning in Manila) in a long-awaited boxing showdown
.
Hatton may have a slight advantage in size or built but both fighters show no marked advantage in terms of power punches. Pacquiao's vaunted left hand could just be as powerful or even more as Hatton's deadly right hand
'It is very important for me to win with a sixth different titles' Pacquiao said. If it happens, people will put me in the list of greatest boxing legends', the Inquirer net report added.
Hatton on the other hand said that he has never been more relaxed and confident before a fight. 'As long as I do what I do best, I believe that I am going to be too much in all areas for Manny. I couldn't be more positive about the outcome, he said.
The two boxers squares off at the MGM Grand Garden Arena this Saturday night.
