Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has some advice for Senator Arlen Specter, who bolted the GOP to become a Democrat: Take John McCain with You!
Maybe some Republicans are missing former GOP senator Arlen Specter, but not so for Rush Limbaugh, the controversial conservative radio talk show host and err apparent to the elephant kingdom.
“It's ultimately good.” the acerbic radio talk show host quipped to his audience on Tuesday. “You're weeding out people who aren't really Republicans," he added.
"A lot of people say, 'Well, Specter, take McCain with you. And his daughter“, referring to Megan McCain, daughter of John McCain, former GOP presidential candidate and outspoken critic of GOP politics. Take McCain and his daughter with you if you're gonna…".
Limbaugh has been highly critical of Specter in the past, including jabs at the senator from Pennsylvania earlier in April. Specter responded to the criticism by stating he likes Limbaugh, but that Rush has a habit of making "provocative" statements.
So far no word has come from John McCain concerning Rush Limbaugh’s latest remarks, but daughter Megan was quick to respond. “RED TIL I'M DEAD BABY!!!”, she stated in a message left on Twitter. I love the republican party enough to give it constructive criticism, I love my party and sure as hell not leavin!"
