Bra saved a woman’s life in Detroit, USA, when a bullet shot at her from next door was deflected by the underwire on her bra.
On Tuesday morning, the 57-year-old woman, whose identity was not revealed, reportedly noticed a group of men were forcing an entry at a neighbor’s house. As those men spotted her to watch, one of them fired a shot which struck the underwire on the woman’s bra and could not inflict serious injury.
Police spokesman Phillip Cook said: “It did slow the bullet down. She sustained injuries but they are not life threatening.”
The woman, who lives on the West side of Detroit, was treated in a nearby hospital. The suspects ran away after the incident.
