Phil Spector, the world famous music producer has been found guilty of murder. Actress Lana Clarkson was found dead at his house in 2003.
Phil Spector can expect a sentence of anything between 15 years and life. He had entered a plea of not guilty for the trial. The charge was second degree murder.
Phil Spector offered no response once he'd heard the verdict. He will remain in custody until the 29th of May when sentencing will be made.
His wife, Rachelle was in tears as the decision was read out.
Phil Spector was said to appear frail when he was at the court. The court case lasted a total of five months and there were 77 witnesses who were called to give evidence.
The decision took 30 hours and the jurors returned with a unanimous verdict. A previous trial held in 2007 was called to a halt after the jurors could not reach a verdict that they all agreed on.
The actress Lana Clarkson was discovered dead in the foyer of the house belonging to Phil Spector. She had meet him at a nightclub earlier that evening.
