Toronto Raptors' power forward Chris Bosh is concerned about the welfare of his daughter as he awaits the court's decision on the pending child support and custody case.
‘I love my daughter. Of course I am financially supporting her’, Chris Bosh said in a statement released by his team Toronto Raptors.
Bosh is struggling with his child support and custody case after he broke up with his live-in girlfriend when she was seven months pregnant.
Bush’s former girl friend Allison Mathis filed the child support and custody case in Marrland.
The Toronto Raptors’ power forward is accused of failing to pay child support when he left his pregnant girlfriend seven months pregnant with his daughter.

Bosh filed a petition in a Dallas court on Oct. 3, 2008 -- six weeks after breaking up with Allison Mathis, the baby's mother -- to begin "arranging custody and financial support for the child. If Bosh and Mathis were unable to come to an agreement, the petition requested the court "to make order for support of the child" and "provide for appropriate access to the child for both parties
Mathis has filed a suit against Chris Bosh seeking Child support and sole custody. In her legal filing, she accuses Bosh of leaving her in destitute, the report added.
‘All I can say is I’m going to take care of my responsibilities like I’ve been doing in the past and in the future and keep respect for everyone, he told reporters.
Chris Bosh is a popular NBA basketball star playing for Toronto Raptors. The power forward superstar of Toronto Raptors played for his collegiate team Georgia Tech before joining the Raptors. He was born in Dallas, Texas on March 24, 1984
Last Sunday Chris Bosh powered his team to victory when he made 16 points and 13 rebounds to beat the L.A. Clippers 100-76.
