Star-studded wedding for Bollywood's Amrita Arora

Within days of the star-studded Filmfare awards, another event is on cards as Bollywood actress Amrita Arora walks down the aisle.

Amrita Arora, who's best known in the Bollywood industry for her steamy and controversial role in the movie Girlfriend, is all set to tie the knot to businessman Shakeel Ladak in Mumbai tonight. The marriage celebration will have all the flavors of a pseudo-traditional wedding ceremony. The couple will exchange wedding rings and vows at a church tonight while the nikaah and reception will be on March 6. The musical 'sangeet' ceremony is being hosted by Arbaaz Khan's sister Alvira Agnihotri on the 5th. The guest list for the event includes Anil Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priety Zinta, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and others. While Amrita had only limited success on the silver screen, her off-screen persona has found her a lot of fans. She needs no introduction to the Bollywood movie-goers. Amrita is the sister of Malaika Arora, wife of Arbaaz Khan and sister-in-law of Salman and Sohail Khan. Amrita in the past has been romantically connected with British-Pakistani cricketer Usman Afzaal and Ashmit Patel, the brother of actress Amisha Patel. Her beau, Shakeel Ladak is however a builder in Mumbai away from the glitz of cricket and bollywood. Nearly all stars is Bollywood are expected to shine at the sangeet ceremony with tabloids trying to get as many pictures as they can. The highlight of the event is expected to be the dance performance from Kareena Kapoor and who else - Saif Ali Khan.
