The family of killed British teenager Scarlett Keeling has plans for planting 100 trees in her memory. The investigations however, was not reportedly able to make much headway.
Exactly a year ago the nations of India and Britain were rocked after a British teenager, Scarlett Keeling, was murdered brutally after reportedly getting raped twice. One year after, the scenario for the bereaved family did not change much as the investigation reportedly did not make much headway. However the bereaved family has decided planting 100 trees near the home of murdered teenager in west England. According to reports, 100 willow trees will be planned on the land at their home near Bradworthy, north Devon. Later, one private ceremony would be held.
Local media while quoting Fiona MacKeown, the mother of the hapless teenager, reported that the family members would be going to plant 100 willow trees in different colors across the land. Then, all of them would come together, accompanied by the friends of Scarlett, to enjoy an afternoon somewhere quiet.
The reports from Indian media stated that the semi-nude body of 15-year-old Scarlett was found on Anjuna beach, Goa, on February 18, 2008. Speaking on the topic further, Ms. MacKeown stated that she hoped meeting the officers of Central Bureau of Investigation, or the CBI, the agency in charge of the investigation.
