24 years old Australian woman was dragged by 2 men and then sprayed a 'noxious substance' on her face. Soon after she was dragged into a nearby bush, according to the reports, quoting the police. The ordeal for the woman did not stop soon as she was not released till 10 pm on Monday. She was walking through an underpass near the city center at 3pm while the incident took place. For this 7 long hours, the reports stated, the woman underwent a prolonged assault that shocked the local officers even.
Speaking on the event, a police spokeswoman reportedly stated that the young woman had been subjected to a terrifying ordeal that can never be underestimated. She stated that the kind of assault was very rare since the entire incident took place in broad daylight in a regularly used area. The report pointed out that a major task force was set up consisting of 20 officers for hunting down the suspects.
