A Hindu conservative group plans to launch cow urine drink as a soda alternative. The drink contains cow urine mixed with medicinal herbs.
The
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist conservative party, will launch this cow urine drink soon. According to Om Prakash, the head of RSS told
The Times that they are testing the product in the laboratories and will soon make it available to the public.
Currently Coca-Cola and Pepsi are popular in India but they got a bad rap recently when their drinks showed
high levels of pesticide content.
Om Prakash assured the public the drink wouldn't smell bad; they will be adding other medicinal herbs to make it tastier, cheaper and
healthier. It won’t have any additives like the current soft drinks on the market.

Despite heavy advertising by Pepsi and Coca-Cola, Om Prakash said they will be competing against the major players and may also export their beverage in the future, which is ironic when they have opposed foreign investments in India for a long time.
The group is also accused of attacking 67 Christians in the eastern state of Orissa last year and also assaulting women in a bar in Mangalore recently. They are also called
Hindu Taliban by their opponents.
