Best Music to Rahman as Slumdog wins 7 at BAFTA

AR Rahman gets Best Music award as Slumdog Millionaire continues its dream run while winning no less than 7 awards at the BAFTA. Other awards included Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Screenplay.
Slumdog Millionaire continued its dream run as no less than 7 awards went to the film at the BAFTA. However, most prominent development came in the form of winning the best music award. AR Rahman, hugely talented music director of the film, was chosen for the category of Best Music award leading the entire crew very near to the elusive dream of Oscar. Slumdog Millionaire, is the story of an 18-year-old boy from rags-to-riches, was directed by Danny Boyle. At the BAFTA, the film also won the Best Film as well as Best Director awards to Danny Boyle. One more Indian, Resul Pookutty was adjudged for the award of best sound editing.
As the reports suggested that there were some other prominent awards that included Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Screenplay.
The director of the film, Mr. Danny Boyle reportedly told that, the feeling was pretty nice to be there at the BAFTA. He reportedly added further that he had been into the direction for a long time however, the award was a real honor for the film. He went on to say further that he was delighted for everyone, especially the actors, as stated by the reports.
While quoting him further, the agencies stated that he thought that he would never wanted doing a film about a game show since he was not really a big time director. He reportedly added that he tried concentrating on projects that he could keep control on. He concluded stating that that had been extraordinary when something like this event took off.
