At the TED conference today, Mission Motors debuted its Mission One electric motorcycle. Designed by renowned designers Yves Béhar and fuseproject, the company claims that it is the "world’s fastest production all-electric motorcycle."
You've heard of electric cars but what about electric choppers? Mission Motors debuted its zero-emission motorcycle at the TED conference today, giving green enthusiasts another reason to cheer.
Mission Motors, based in San Francisco, said the the Mission One motorcycle can reach a top speed of 150 mph and sports a linear torque curve with loads of torque from basically 0 RPM. It recharges for two hours on 240V and 8 hours on 120V.
Forrest North, founder and CEO, Mission Motors, said in a press release:
With the Mission One, we’re writing the next chapter in motorcycle design, delivering a new riding experience without sacrificing performance or design in a zero emissions vehicle.
