When a 27-year-old Guatemalan man tried to get arrested so he could be deported Long Island police had to refuse. It's not easy to arrest someone who's not guilty of anything.
Seeing that he had to take matters into his own feet the officer's squad car got a quick kick on Sunday morning after being told that innocent men don't get arrested. That kick was enough to get him arrested. The man was taken into custody for a fourth-degree criminal mischief charge.
Thankfully the man had the sense of doing something that would not harm anyone else. Kicking a car would not get anyone a hefty prison term but it could get the man a one-way ticket home. Some people may have gone off the deep end to ensure that they would be arrested.
There are no details as of yet for his arraignment. Immigration has not issued a statement on the case either.
