“Jericho” was only on television for two seasons but it looks like it may be getting geared up for a film version. The intense drama may have been too intense for the small screen, perhaps the big screen will be a better venue.
The show centered on what would happen if the United States was attacked from the inside with nuclear bombs.
Skeet Ulrich and Ashley Scott are said to be revising their roles for the film according to the show's executive producer Turteltaub.
Moviehole reports:
"We're developing a feature for Jericho. It would not require you to have seen the TV show, but it [would] get into life after an event like this on a national scale. It would be the bigger, full-on American version of what's going on beyond the town in Jericho," he said.
The show was canceled after its first season but a nut campaign by the fans gave it another year of life.
