Courtney Love seems to thrive on sensationalism and vice. Her latest delve into the dark side has to do with her insults regarding Jews.
This is in spite of her claims to have familial ties to Judaism and a belief in Buddhism. Love who has a long history of drugs and the profane is in the news again recently following an interview with a Jewish magazine.
While being interviewed by a magazine called Heeb Love made inflammatory remarks and used epithets to talk about Paula Fox, a recognized Jewish novelist, who is technically her grandmother. Love went on to say that she only had one meeting with Fox and that was during Passover. She referred to her grandmother as a “frosty bitch” but didn’t stop there.
Love had been nominated for a Golden Globe and when asked about it said, "Every time you buy a Nirvana record, part of that money is not going to Kurt's child, or to me, it's going to a handful of Jew loan officers, Jew private banks, it's going to lawyers who are also bankers, it's going to sixty PAs."
The interview proceeds with a personal, anecdotal accounting of Love’s relationship with a grandfather whom she said was famous and did not name and how she herself became famous. PopEater who reports the Love interview goes on to quote the actress/singer/celebrity as saying the following when asked about her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, a child she had with famed rock singer, Kurt Cobain who committed suicide by shooting himself in 1994 two years after his daughter Frances was born. "You know, I'm not like 'cool mom.' I'm a mother. I'm not like, 'Oh, honey, if you're going to do that, do it at home.' I'm more like, 'You're not going to do that, so, f--- off, or I'm taking your computer, and your f---ing, you know, Blackberry.' But, I’m a really, really good mother, and the proof is in the pudding."
Wow, that’s proof? Wonder how the 14-year-old daughter feels about that.
