In a record breaking marriage of lengthy proportions, another starlette and legally bound partner have decided to split. Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil will commence with proceedings for divorce. The reason? Amy's infidelity.
It is official: another bombshell has dropped on a happy and loving marriage. This time, it almost made it to two years.
According to the Associated Press:
Attorney Henri Brandman says he has been instructed by Blake Fielder-Civil "to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy's adultery."
Thee two were married in early summer, 2007 and have seen a blissful union of drugs and legal problems since, with Fielder-Civil being sentenced to prison in June, 2008 for trial fixing and assault.
One of Amy's strongest hits was "Rehab," which made its debut in 2006 but following a serious concert tour malady in late 2007, the singer supposedly followed her doctor's advice to rest.
Despite tabloid statements that her husband had led her to the drug abuse that essentially overpowered her beautiful voice, she now says that she was in love "again" and that she no longer needed drugs. Her alleged new beau? Former rugby player Josh Bowman.
Good luck.
