Rulers of Abu Dhabi and Dubai each offered to build 600 houses for Palestinians whose properties have been demolished during the Israeli offensive in Gaza.
President of UAE and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan together with Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, have offered to build 600 houses each for the victims of Israeli aggression in Gaza.
Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed said the gesture was a show of support for resistance of the Palestinian people "on their soil and in their homeland".
This act of kindness has shown the concern of UAE leadership towards the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Prior to this, Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammad has ordered to cancel any kind of high profile celebrations on New Year's Eve as solidarity for Palestinians.

Meanwhile, fundraisers in the UAE are lending proper attentions to support the Palestinian people of Gaza. A live TV and radio campaign, Relief for the Palestinian People, started yesterday at 2pm, was held on the instructions of Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed, and General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Around 50 truck convoys with 300 tonnes of essential relief supplies purchased in Egypt was arrived en route to the Rafah border.
