The UN Ambassador for Egypt has confirmed that epresentatives of Israel, the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have agreed to meet Thursday for talks in Cairo on the Gaza crisis.
All the parties involved have agreed to send technical delegations to discuss an Egyptian-French initiative to end the fighting in Gaza.
The plan is not yet clear, but it is likely to call for a limited cease-fire in the Israeli-Hamas fighting to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.
