One of the best places to live in the whole wide world has to be Sydney, Australia. Each time a list is compiled of the most liveable cities around the globe, Sydney invariably scores very high.
And it is easy to see why. The wonderful harbour is a joy to behold and just the pleasure of taking a ferry ride is something truly unique. To experience this all one needs to do is to take the ferry over to Manly; a popular day out for locals and tourists alike.
There are a huge number of beaches dotted around Sydney’s shorelines and especially the Northern Beaches, such as Dee Why, Narrabeen and Curl Curl are stunning. Central Sydney is breathtaking with the famous icons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the architecturally amazing Opera House.
Interesting suburbs are Glebe, with its large student population and entertaining Saturday markets and Balmain with its trendy yet bohemian feel and large number of pubs. There is always some live music going on somewhere.
Then there is the climate that could be described as positively Mediterranean. This is really a great place to live and work. The people are friendly, welcoming and easy-going and the quality of life generally is second to none.
