Numbers of casualty has risen to 6 in the Guwahati serial bomb blasts. As initial confusion is over the security forces too are pursuing the case in a more speedy manner. According to initial security reports ULFA the separatist group of Assam has been held responsible for the blasts.
As India was planning to start the life afresh, the terrorists once again struck with impunity while selecting some extremely populous places such as mall for causing maximum devastation. However, due to the low-intensive nature of the blasts the number of casualties did not reach as high as the terrorists expected. While talking to journalists the DGP of Assam Police stated that none other than the ULFA was behind this attack. The police later confirmed further that two bombs were blasted using cycles where the third one had been in the roadside garbage bin.
While speaking on the matter, the Home Minister of the province stated that the condition of at least four of the injured persons had been stated to be extremely critical.
