It seems as though the weather is doing its best to keep some Canadians from coming home for Christmas as weather warnings are still impairing travel.
The freezing rain warning has just been lifted for Northern New Brunswick and the light snow that was falling has stopped. The roads are clear but slippery and I just cam in from shovelling the driveway for the, I've lost counting, time.
However, across Canada with the exception of Saskatchewan and Prince Edward Island there are
storm warnings in effect.
Here in New Brunswick, that mainstay of public transportation, the Acadian bus line is running but behind schedule.
I'll be home for Christmas, only one errand to run and that is a trip to the local video store.
As has been reported this is a country wide white Christmas but perhaps there is just a bit too much white.
Wherever you are I say
Peace on Earth and Good Will to All.
