Sarah Palin provoked public outcry in ways that were stories in themselves. People wrote articles, made videos, and posted blogs. Some regular folk became very creative.
A few videos became very popular and immediately afterwards became television news. YouTube has a great way of creating fame points for lots of people, even animals. Some of their most popular videos have been simply of pets sleeping, likely because people would like a little more of that innocent behavior. But my choice for top citizen YouTube video is that done by the California hockey mom.
My video choice of 2008 is a talented California music teacher who put together one of the best musical arguments against Sarah Palin one could want. The voice is beautiful, the words creative, the style funny, and the arrangement terrific. I loved it and have kept it among my favorites.
I don’t want to tell you anymore about this entertaining video. Democrat or Republican, listen to it and laugh. I think you’ll agree that the cleverness of it as a citizen video rivals Saturday Night Live and Tina Fey. I still giggle when I play it and hope it entertains you as well. It’s my choice as the Top Citizen YouTube video of 2008
