By Bob Ewing.
The warning is out a blizzard is headed towards the Maritime provinces, here in northern New Brunswick it is cold and still but we are ready.
The red light is flashing on the lower right hand of my computer screen as I type. The warning light is informing me that a blizzard is headed this way.
This will be the first, if it arrives in full force, this year. We have had snow and cold. When you reach the point were you welcome the cold because it means that it is unlikey to snow you know you are adjusting to your environment.
However, it is warming up, at the moment it is minus 17 C about three degrees warmer than around noon.
The storm will hit in a few hours. How severe it will be only time will tell.
Tomorrow night is the annual Rotary Christmas Party and I am playing Santa. Last year it was snowed out ;will this year be a repeat? It is too early to tell.
