Dutch politician Geert Wilders - who is under permanent government protection because he produced a video which is critical of Islam -- said in a speech to Israeli parliamentarians that "Israel is receiving the blows which are meant for all of us.'
His movie, Fitna - which he showed in Israel during his speech -- can be viewed on the posted link above - but there's heavy censorship: you have to provide your identity and birthdate first before you can access it
Wilders received a standing ovation after showing his film. He said that he was in Jerusalem to 'voice his concern over the growing Islamisation of the West." "We do this in the city of David - the city that together with Rome and Athens, symbolizes our ancient heritage. "This city is the capital of a democracy under threat,' he said.
He used some examples from the Netherlands- because they are indicative for the situation on the entire European mainland, he warned.
"A staggering number of new immigrants arrive every year, many of them Muslim, often uneducated, if not illiterate. Bringing along with them the local customs of the mountains and deserts of backward Islamic countries."
He said his tiny, overcrowded, waterlogged country of 17-million mostly Christian people now already have 1-million Muslim immigrants -- and have to face the fact that the 'thousands and thousands of Muslims arrive in the Netherlands every year, are not willing to integrate into our open and tolerant society.'
Stealth jihad:
"What we have to fear the most,' he warned, 'is the creeping Islamisation, the stealth jihad.
"Because every Islamic neighbourhood, every Islamic shop, every mosque, every Islamic school, every burqa, every veil are regarded by many Muslims as building blocks towards a larger goal, towards domination."
He asked: "How are we to remain a democracy if a large part of the growing Muslim population is in favour of introducing sharia law? Read entire speech here: (in English:)
