A 'Stealth' Jihad in the U.S.?

With the rise of Islam in the USA can we expect the religious brutality some Muslims commit in other nations to begin here in our country also? Or is there a different tactic here? Robert Spencer of JihadWatch.org seems to be saying exactly that with his new book "Stealth Jihad" Every month you can read of Muslim attacks on such sites as CompassDirect.org and Persecution.org. Pastors murdered, women raped, Churches burned and whole villages terrorized. Are there already such Muslim religious attacks, a Jihad, here in the USA? Is the media whitewashing the truth? Some say yes. But why would they? Is there a covert war being waged by Islamists on American soil? These are questions that need answering and some have tried answering them.

CompassDirect.org has posted reports of the attack on a Kenyan Refugee camp by Muslims in Somalia, of Christian Pastors being murdered and attacked by Muslims in West Africa, and families attacked and cut by Muslims in Bangladesh, all within the same month. Are we seeing this trend of such violence in countries when the muslim population is great enough to scare authorities into inaction?

Will we see such attacks in America when the Muslim population gets large enough here? Some seem to be saying no, that Muslims aren't using violence, but are trying a different tactic on the United States of America. "Jihad", as defined on Wikipedia.com is,

(Arabic: جهاد‎ IPA: [ʤɪhæːd]), an Islamic term, is a religious duty of Muslims... to "struggle in the way of God" or "to struggle to improve one's self and/or society." -Wikipedia

The latest book by Robert Spencer of JihadWatch.org tells the horrifying tale of what he believes is happening here in America. He claims the US is being taken over for Islam with an old, surreptitious tactic Muslims call "Da'Wa" or "Stealth Jihad" as he refers to it. And Mr. Spencer says they are getting help from a surprising source, the American Media.

Spencer says we should "stand up and fight for this cause." And by the context of his book he is asking you, we all, to fight against Islam's influence, not just in America but globally. It would seem this battle is right at our own doors already. September 11th was a clear example of such a Jihadist act. Is War Imminent? But not everyone thinks this definition of Jihad on Wikipedia is accurate. "With the notable exception of the Crusades, Muslims have initiated almost all wars, due largely to the philosophy of jihad. War is not a sidebar of history for Islam; it is the main vehicle for religious expansion." Dr. Ergun Mehmet Caner said in his book "Unveiling Islam: An Insider's Look at Muslim Life and Beliefs." Caner is the first former Muslim to become the leader of an evangelical seminary. His brother, Dr. Emir Fethi Caner, co-authored the book. Both of the Caner brothers were trained as Imams and are considered to be experts on Islam. But Robert Spencer does seem to agree with the Caner brothers as he concludes his book with the Chapter, "IN THE END: WILL THE PRICE BE TOO HIGH?"
