December is going to be starting with a white blankety bang this year in Toronto and southern Ontario. A winter storm is expected to arrive Sunday evening bringing a significant amount of snow.
Severe weather meteorologist Rob Kuhl predicts wet snow, rain and then more snow for the end of the weekend.
The storm is coming from down Texas and Louisiana way starting the trek north today. If the trek continues as planned the snow will be hitting Ontario by noon Sunday.
There are some concerns about power outages because this is going to be a wet snow.
Drivers should be alert as heavy snow makes for poor visibility.
From past experience the safest and quickest way to travel the downtown area during winter storms is always the TTC.
