The British government has said that there is the possibility that two of the people involved in the Mumbai massacre came from Britain.
In the midst of the brutal massacre taking place at Mumbai, it is still unknown on the origins of the Deccan Mujahideen, the group that has claimed responsibility. Several theories have been tossed up into the air. However there is not enough evidence at the moment to support the theories.
Indian and British authorities have said that it is too early to jump to conclusions. However, there is suspicion cast that the members of the Deccan Mujahideen may have ties to Pakistan. But, Pakistan’s government has condemned the attacks. It adds that the country is not to blame.
Plus, it warned India of casting its blame and suspicion.
Also, it is unknown on if the Deccan Muhahideen came from a foreign country or if it is homegrown.
The British government is investigating a
possibility that two of the people involved in the massacre are British citizens. This could possibly throw suspicion towards Britain. Still, it is too early to jump to conclusions.
UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown said that it is too early to make conclusions. He adds that there is still much information that needs to be found.
Still, there is much suspicion aimed at Pakistan.
However, it is still unknown about the origins of the Deccan Mujahideen. This is a group that was not on the list of known terror groups.
Also, there is the possibility that two of the participants may indeed have come from Britain.
