Nov 13, 2008 - Pregnant Man Expecting Second Child - 2 comments

It seems Thomas Beatie enjoys being a man trapped in a pregnant woman's body. Beatie is having a second baby due on June 12. His and wife Nancy welcomed their first child on June 29 this year.
34-year-old Beatie had a sex change operation ten years ago, up to a point. He is legally a man but retained his female reproductive organs.
Beatie told Barbara Walters that he is in his first trimester of pregnancy during an interview for the show 20/20. The program will air on November 14. Walters talked about the interview on the daytime chat show, The View, Thursday.
Beatie told Walters that after giving birth to the couple's daughter in June he decided to not go back on the male hormone testosterone because he wanted one more baby.
Nancy Beatie can not have children because of a prior hysterectomy. The couple choose to have Beatie carry their children after being artificially inseminated using donor sperm and Beatie's own egg.
The couple and daughter Susan live in Bend, Oregon.
